This
is a magazine cover I did for the local Pittsburgh service Wheel
Deliver. This illustration is currently still in print and in addition
to being a cover, it also appeared as a glossy, post-card sized insert
in Pittsburgh's City Paper.
It was created using Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Corel Painter X.

This
is a T-shirt design I made for the Expresscion design contest. The
design had to be black and white and formated at 8.5x11 in. The design
went through a lot of changes, but most importantly, I wanted the image
to stand alone on the surface of the t-shirt.
The
tools used to create this images were brush and ink, black and white
gouache and Adobe Photoshop CS2 (for touch up into digital). -

This
is a game poster I made to promote a part of my senior thesis. The game
for which this poster was made was a side-scrolling game featuring a
witch (Tiv the Thaumaturge) and a series of demons. In addition to this
poster, I made a detailed game document and a slew of assets. You can
learn more about this particular project by visiting my game assets
page.
This poster's final size was 24x36 and is available for print on CafePress. Click here for more information.

This
picture was made to illustrate my experience at Pennsylvania's
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. My graduate program at Carnegie Mellon
requires me to analyze various entertainment experiences and instead of
writing another paper, I got away with painting this instead. And if
being allowed to go on this trip wasn't good enough, getting to paint
this as the final part of the assignment was like the cherry on the
cake. All in all, it was a great experience. I'd recommend Nemacolin to
anyone.
The picture to the right was created using Corel Painter X. -

This
is the splash image for a "Jam-o-Drum" game I made during my first week
at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center. The two
characters featured, Flora (top) and Mori (bottom), are the main
characters of the game Blossoming Friendship, a game where two friends
work together to save their garden from bugs. The image is round
because the table on which it is projected is circular and must be
viewable from 4 different user interfaces at the table. For more
information on this particular game, please visit my game art section.

These are two paintings I did during undergrad that use the same acrylic technique.
I paint a lot, but most of my paintings never reach my website. Honestly, it's very hard for me
to make nice digital copies of traditionally created artwork, so nowadays I do everything completely
on the computer. If you know some trick or easy technique for scanning/photographing paintings, tell me.

These are both acrylic on cold press illustration board.

These are a couple of labels I made for a German soy products company called Sojaline (later renamed Soyaglobe). These labels would be printed on the packaging material and then folded into the bag shape. This was one of my first international projects. I did it during my Junior year of my undergraduate at Ringling.
In addition to Strawberry and Chocolate, I also designed a Pure Soy and Coffee flavor label.

In the Spring of 2008, I spent half a year working on two projects for Sharp Electronics Japan through Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center. I had the pleasure of working from the Asian Trade Center in Osaka, Japan with a team of three other technologists. My role was as an art director working with a team of two other artists based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and one freelance artist based in Tampa, Florida. This is the half sheet from that project.
This promotional print or "halfsheet" is folded so that the bottom half appears on one side, the other half on the opposite.
